What can I say, I've been doing one on one PT sessions with David over the last 4 weeks and I've learned so much. We spent a bit of time at the beginning going through certain exercises but it was well worth it to get the technique right. I had signed up with David last year just as a pay as you go member and hardly showed up due to college, other commitments and to be honest, lack of motivation. His PT sessions have made me stronger, I have more motivation and I feel much happier. He gives me a good kick where I need it! � "Tough love" as he calls it and we have a good laugh. I would highly recommend him and his gym for any level and ability. Along with that there is a great friendly atmosphere at his gym. Everyone is very chill and there is always someone there who'll help you out. I have signed up with him again for another couple of weeks of one on one PT, I enjoyed it that much!

In a month, David's helped me achieve my short term goals of decreasing body fat % 4% to move me from above average bf% to average. He's focused on improving my technique, which after an extended absence from the gym was awful - it's now better and more consistent than it ever has been.
His explanations, demonstrations and attention to detail while I'm lifting have helped push me on - all weights being lifted have increased, some of them fairly dramatically. He knows when to push, when to be in my ear to keep going and when to use encouragement instead.
His taste in music could be better! But at least he'll let anyone plug their phone in to play theirs.

I was doing a bit of lifting at home before I signed up for personal training with David. I knew nothing compared to what David taught me, proper form being number one. Without this, I would never have progressed in the short time I have. In a few weeks I've dropped my body fat and increased the weights I'm lifting. Very relaxed atmosphere too and I look forward to my sessions. I would highly recommend!

I've been to different gyms and I can honestly say no gym quite compares to this one for me.
Has everything you could need in a gym and everything is top quality too.
David being as experienced as he is, is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful, he's helped me out majorly with my workouts, he's shown me things that I've been doing wrong (probably for quite some time) and tought me the right and proper way of doing things.
From the moment I stepped into the gym David had been nothing but welcoming and the prices are affordable too.
Couldn't hype this gym enough.

I went to David for a powerlifting program as I am hoping to compete. Who better to go to, than someone who has competed and achieved so much in the sport in a short period of time. When I received the program I was amazed with the amount detail and work that had gone into the program. This consisted of a 4 day split, conditioning, ab & core routines and also mobility & flexibility. David covered all aspects in this program and was very professional. I couldn't fault him at all and would highly recommend him. Great gym, great coach.

Don't even know where to start... Few months back I have hired David as my personal trainer. After a bad injury with my SI joint and few other bits I decided to train with Dave to fix my technique and see where the mistakes were made. No need to say that every single exercise I done (no matter whether it was a squat, deadlift, or even just easy dumbbell exercises) David had to fix everything, every single one. Im a bikini competitor aswell and Im looking to compete as soon as I recover. Thanks to David I will have now programmes and adjustments made to my own programmes that will allow me to bring even stronger, more defined and muscular physique next time I'll step on the stage again. David is working together with my physio therapist too to ensure that those areas causing me pain will stay save and those areas that need to get stronger will be looked after. For me personally its a whole new learning process and Im grateful to have David as my instructor. His knowledge is excellent and he makes it easy to understand. If Im not able to do exercise because of the injury David finds an alternative exercise to replace it. I never believed into mobility or stretching and things like that. David introduced me to a lot of things like that and explained the importance of it. The last thing I would say aswell is that he's extremely patient. To put up with me and my laziness and moodiness you really need a diploma. He deffo got a lot of patience haha. I could write thousand more things why he's no.1 personal trainer but I would sit here forever. Thanks Dave for having me as your client. Im truly blessed and sorry for wrecking your head sometimes lol! Thank you for all your help bring on 1rm tomorrow on bench press! I can't wait!

I 1st met Dave over a year ago I came to him to help me with powerlifting. I had been weight training for a couple of years before and Dave showed me that I had been doing a lot of things wrong and quickly helped me correct them.

Where to start!! What a great gym with a fantastic trainer! Never have I ever thought I'd ever be interested in lifting and strength training until I started to train with David. He is such a motivating person with a tonne of patience! He definately turned my fear of weights around and now I couldn't imagine doing anything else! Such a genuine and approachable guy with a huge passion for what he does! From eating right and a personal interest to get the best out of everybody this is most definately one of the best gyms around! Always positive and believing in every person who walks through the door I would 100% recommend David to everybody!! Having known David for a few years and being a 'devoted' attendee of his infamous HIIT class it was with some trepidation I decided to sign up for a series of personal training sessions.
My primary objective (not that i really had anything specific) was to try & increase my strength through the use of heavier weights. Obviously there is a real risk of injury if not done right so this is where the advice of a pro really comes in.
I learnt lots, lifted more, sweat buckets and my motivation has greatly improved - whereas before unless I was in a gym class & being shouted at constantly to push myself I now can go into the gym and do a goblet squat drop set on my own (nothing short of miraculous !).
Through speaking to some of David's other clients and of course through personal experience, I know that David's goals for you are your goals - be it strength, weight loss, toning, flexibility, endurance or whatever. He may be a power lifter by trade but he is much more than that, a genuine all round athlete and, probably most importantly, he's a very approachable, knowledgeable and thoroughly likeable guy !

I started training with David 2 weeks ago , ive been exercising for years many types of sports from muay thai , running, swimming. Football , gym and its been the best decision I have ever made and im glad I did, David is a great trainer he takes the time to go through proper techniques with each individual, and caters for every body whether your a first timer wanting to learn how to get fit or whether your a gym pro he can cater for everyone. Ive had problems squatting due to misalignment in my pelvis and after only two weeks with techniques and stretching I'm doing so much better. I signed up for personal training with David nearly a year ago. I have a very severe visual impairment which has left me virtually blind in both eyes. I told David how I wanted to start powerlifting with the aim of competing in a competition in the future. From the very beginning David gave 100% effort when it came to my training. Whether it was taking extra time to explain and exercise or piece of equipment to me to make sure that I was exercising safely and properly or pushing me that extra bit I needed to achieve maximum results. All of the equipment in David's gym is pristine and New. He is truly gifted when it comes to weightlifting and exercising. David is always easy to approach and talk to and will do anything in his power to help someone. Due to David's considerable effort and help I competed in my first powerlifting competition yesterday and I'm absolutely thrilled that I got the chance to do it even though I am blind. I did a full and on adapted squat bench press and Dead lift. I would highly recommend David and his gym to absolutely anybody because I know they like me Will have absolutely no regrets about becoming a member.

Great trainer, Introduced me into the sport of power lifting. Loved every minute of it. David put me through many successful programs, All the way from my beginner and introductory phases to where I was confident enough to push the sport competitively . As a result I competed in the Idfpa junior world championships in june of last year and placed 3rd in deadlift and 4th in the squat. To finish this up fast and short, if your looking for a strength and conditioning coach I would highly recommend David. His programming, knowledge and overall communication with myself was A1.
